Etowah Shoals

  Located within the city limits of Canton, Etowah Shoals Village is envisioned to be a “destination” mixed-use multi-generational village.  The site received PUD Zoning in 2004, providing 1200 single family and mixed-used residential units and 32 acres of neighborhood commercial.  As nostalgia is at its height among all generations, the proposed theme of the community is a step back in time offering a “farm to table” 80-acre organic farm adjacent to the Etowah River.  Etowah Shoals Village fits perfectly into the approved #CantonForward LCI (Living Centers Initiative) welcoming “live, work, play,” mixed-use communities. Canton will greatly benefit from Etowah Shoals Village providing “destination center” easily accessible as an extension of the Etowah River Walk nature trail.
